Request a copy of personal data we hold about you. We respond within 45 days of a verified request.

Help Me Vets — Request My Data
Option 1 — In the app
- Open Help Me Vets and sign in.
- Go to Settings → Request my data.
- Follow the link to email us or confirm your request. We will verify your identity using the email on your account.
Option 2 — Email
Email [email protected] with subject Help Me Vets — Data Request. Include the email address on your account. We may ask you to verify ownership.
What you may receive
A machine-readable or PDF summary of personal account data we control, such as profile fields, facility requests you submitted, peer session metadata linked to your account, and help/volunteer application records. Public VA facility directory data is not personal data and is not included as “your” export.
Processing time
We provide exports within 45 days of a verified request, usually sooner.
